US JOLTS job openings reach highest level since July

The number of job openings increased to 5.757 million in March, its highest level in eighth months, up from a revised 5.608 million in February (5.445 million initially estimated).

Meanwhile, the hiring rate ticked down slightly in March, to 3.7% from 3.8% in February and the quits rate stayed at 2.1% in the same month.
