German CPI: Soft regional readings ahead of nationwide
Germany's regional CPIs are out, with Brandenburg inflation for the month of April MoM coming in at -0.3% vs +0.9% prev, while the YY was -0.2% vs 0.0% prev. In Hesse, MoM stood at -0.2% vs +0.8% prev, with YoY at -0.1% vs +0.15 prev. Meanwhile, in Bavaria, the MoM came at -0.1% vs +0.8% prev, with YoY at +0.2% vs +0.3% prev. Overall, the inflation readings are quite tame, which does not bode well for Germany's nationwide CPI at 12.00 GMT.
