Key events ahead: Yellen speaks in New York - Westpac
Analysts at Westpac noted the key events ahead.
Key Quotes:
"In Asia, we get the rest of the month-end slew of data from Japan but none of it is likely to be market moving. US March consumer confidence is seen to rise to 94.0 from 92.2.
The US S&P/Case-Shiller Jan house price index is also out. Fed chair Yellen’s speech at the Economic Club of New York will be the highlight. This comes after various Fed officials last week declared both April and June policy meetings to be “live” and generally sounded less dovish than Yellen did at her press conference."
