US: Initial jobless claims and Philly Fed index in focus - TDS

“Initial jobless claims are projected to edge higher to 275k for the week ending Feb 13. TD is below consensus (263k ) new applicants, pulling the 4-week moving avg to 273k.
TD is also below consensus for the Philly Fed Index and expects the business outlook to slip to –7 from January’s –3.5; the mkt at –3.0. The leading index for January will be released at 10:00 ET and is expected to indicate a deterioration of economic conditions. TD is slightly more bearish than the consensus at –0.3% m/m.”
