Germany: CPI drops by 0.2% in October

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - According to data released today by Destatis, German inflation fell 0.2% in October, after remaining flat the previous month. This result is in line with analysts' forecasts. On an annual basis German CPI grew 1.2% in October, down from the 1.4% rise in September, as expected.

Year-over-year German HICP rose 1.2% in October, down from +1.6% in September and slightly below forecasts of a 1.3% increase. On a monthly basis HICP declined 0.3%, after remaining flat and below projections of -0.2%.

Germany: Wholesale Price Index falls more than expected in October

The German Wholesale Price Index dropped by 1% in October, compared with the 0.7% increase the previous month, Statistisches Bundesamt Deutschland informed on Tuesday. Analysts expected less decline of 0.2%.
