RBA Stevens: Demand for labour increased at an above average pace

Reserve Bank of Australia Governor Glenn Stevens, appearing before the House of Representatives' Standing Committee on Economics, said that demand for labour increased at an above average pace, adding that mining investment drop to last at least another year. As per whether or not financial turmoil will impact aggregate demand, Stevens said 'can not say'.
