AUD/USD hits fresh 6-week low
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The AUD/USD extended losses into a third day Monday as the decline triggered by a strong US employment report was fueled by reports China is expected to cut its growth target to 7% next year.
The AUD/USD broke below the 0.9350 area and hit a fresh 6-week low of 0.9346 in recent dealings amid low volume due to the Veterans Day in US. At time of writing, AUD/USD is trading around 0.9350, recording a 0.4% loss on the day.
AUD/USD technical levels
In terms of technical levels, next supports for AUD/USD are seen at 0.9333 (Oct 2 low) and 0.9300 (psychological level). On the other hand, resistances could be found at 0.9390 (daily high) and 0.9420 (Nov 1 low).
