Govt and BOJ will work together to achieve 2% price target – Japan’s PM Abe

Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was on the wires earlier today, noting that the Bank of Japan (BOJ) will decide the monetary policy steps.

UK Markit services PMI increased to 55.6, higher than 55.5 reading seen previously. It also came in higher than estimated 55.3 reading.
