Will maintain QQE steadily to achieve 2% inflation at earliest – BOJ’s Iwata

FXStreet (Mumbai) - Bank of Japan (BOJ) Deputy Governor Kikuo Iwata, while speaking in the parliament alongside Governor Kuroda, noted the following:

“Price trend improving,”

“Bank of Japan will maintain QQE steadily to achieve 2 pct inflation at earliest date possible”

While BOJ Kuroda noted separately at the same event, “price trend improving but Japan still half-way in meeting boj's price target.”
