Wall Street indexes post sharp gains after NFP
FXStreet (Córdoba) - US stocks rallied more than 2% on Friday, putting main indexes for a marginal weekly gain, following a strong nonfarm payrolls report which keep December lift-off on the table.
The main indexes closed extended gains to three consecutive weeks. The DJIA rose 369.96 points, or 2.12%, to 17,847.63. The S&P 500 climbed 41.97, or 2.05%, to 2,091.60. The Nasdaq Composite gained 104.74 points, or 2.08%, to 5,142.47. All three indexes rose 0.3% over the week.
