UK: Annual CPI up 2.7% in September
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - According to data released today by National Statistics, UK annual inflation rose 2.7% in September, following 2.7% growth registered the previous month. This result is almost in line with analysts' forecasts of +2.6. On a monthly basis CPI rose 0.4%, after increasing 0.4%, slightly more than the expected 0.3% growth.
Year-over-year Core CPI climbed 2.2% in September, up from 2.0% in August.
