USD/CHF up but still below 0.9700
FXStreet (Córdoba) - The US dollar is posting modest gains on Monday against the Swiss franc but remains unable to climb above 0.9700. Currently USD/CHF trades at 0.9680, 30 pips above the price it had at the beginning of the day.
USD/CHF posts highest weekly close since April
Last week the pair posted a weekly gain of 40 pips as it continues to rise from 0.9150 where June lows lie. The pair still has a bullish bias with a strong support at 0.9570, where an uptrend line is located.
Price has been able to hold above the 0.9650 zone, that is an important support, also stands above the daily 20-SMA. On the opposite direction, resistance might lie at 0.9700, 0.9715/20 (July 30 high) and 0.9755 (March 31).
