EUR/USD stuck in the mid-1.0900s

FXStreet (Edinburgh) - The shared currency is now wobbling between gains and losses against the dollar, with EUR/USD meandering around the mid-1.0900s.

EUR/USD eyes Greek vote

The pair is looking to extend yesterday’s recovery although the upside momentum seems to have run out of legs in the vicinity of 1.0970 in early trade. Market participants will remain vigilant however on the developments in the Greek Parliament, where a positive vote on the second package of reforms could give extra oxygen to EUR.

In the data space, albeit non relevant, Italian Industrial Sales expanded at an annual pace of 2.4% while, Industrial Orders contracted 0.5% on a year to May. IN the US economy, Existing Home Sales are due next, with consensus around the 5.4 M during June.

EUR/USD levels to watch

At the moment the pair is up 0.02% at 1.0937 with the next hurdle at 1.0968 (high Jul.22) followed by 1.1036 (high Jul.15) and then 1.1086 (high Jul.14). On the other hand, a break below 1.0924 (low Jul.22) would expose 1.0812 (low Jul.21) and finally 1.0789 (low Apr.25).
