Eurozone cannot give bridge financing to Greece – Bundesbank’s Weidmann

FXStreet (Mumbai) - Bundesbank’s Weidmann was on wires again, stating that Eurozone cannot provide bridge financing to Greece, even if there is impending financing to be given.

Weidmann against prolonged ELA to Greece

Weidmann said Greek ELA raises serious monetary financing concerns, and that prolonged ELA for Greece casts doubt on bank solidity.

He further added that Greek banks need to improve liquidity situation.
