German Ifo Surveys worsen in June

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The mood in business conditions in Germany worsened in June, the latest Ifo Business Climate Index showed, a day after the latest PMI reports pointed to an improving activities in the manufacturing and industrial sector in the Germany.

The German Ifo Business Climate for June ticked lower from 108.5 to 107.4, while the expectations gauge dropped to 102.0 from 103.0 in May, the Ifo Institute reported on Wednesday.

Weak surveys had been expected and confirmed the deteriorating economic situation in Germany, as the ZEW surveys had indicated earlier in the month.
