Key Quotes

“AUD was the strongest G10 currency for no obvious reason, perhaps some switching out of NZD. AUD/USD rose steeply in the London morning from under 0.7740 to a high of 0.7849, a high since 22 May. The Aussie eased back to 0.7800/05 early Sydney and we doubt it is ready to break its ranges to the upside despite the somewhat weaker USD tone post-FOMC.”
