BOJ likely to expand stimulus in October – Reuters survey

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The latest Reuters survey indicates the majority of the economists expect the Bank of Japan (BOJ) expand its monetary stimulus in October.

As per the survey results, 12 out of 19 economists expect the BOJ to expand stimulus at the October 30 meeting. One economist expects easing at Oct 6-7 meeting, while two said the bank would make a move in November. Remaining 4 economists see BOJ expanding stimulus in 2016.

NZIER trims growth expectations

The latest New Zealand Institute of Economic Research (NZIER) "Consensus Forecasts" published on Monday shows forecasters have trimmed growth expectations slightly since March quarter.
