US stocks close lower
FXStreet (Córdoba) - US stocks closed slightly lower a quiet on Monday, cutting gains posted the previous session.
The DJIA dropped 85 points or 0.47% to 18,105. The S&P 500 fell 10 points or 0.51% to 2,105. The Nasdaq Composite dropped nearly 10 points, or 0.2% and ended at 4,993.
In the absence of major economic news, main attention remained on Eurogroup meeting. While the Eurogroup welcomed progress in negotiations, it said “more time and effort are needed to bridge gaps on remaining issues”.
