Bullish outlook for the greenback - Scotiabank

FXStreet (Guatemala) - Camilla Sutton, chief currency analyst at Scotiabank digs in to the outlook for the greenback.

Key Quotes:

"The very near term is likely a period of rest as the market catches its breath. However over the next few weeks, the risk is further USD weakness as positions continue to be squared and the market re‐evaluates."

"Nonfarm payrolls becomes the next major market focus. However by the second half of the year a stronger USD should reassert itself, driven by the relative growth, central bank, sentiment, etc all shifting back towards a more favourable USD outlook."

EUR/GBP: Headed for April highs?

EUR/GBP is currently trading at 0.7318 with a high of 0.7318 and a low of 0.7187.
