Key Quotes

“The stock market indices suffered extremely negative declines today. It was one of the worst of the year, in perfect 5-wave declines. They dropped immediately after today's opening, backed and filled in bear wedges, and had a very nasty late morning, early afternoon, decline. After that, in midafternoon, they went sideways and did more bear wedging, only to break down again at the close, and closed at today's low going away.”

“Net on the day, the Dow was down 292.60 at 17,718.54. The S&P 500 was down 1 1/2%, 30.45 at 2061.05. The Nasdaq 100 was down 2 1/2%, 101.70 at 4329.29.”
