Wall Street closes after reaching all-time highs
FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - The US stocks traded in between red and green numbers on Tuesday as investors were cautious as earnings reports came mixed and the Speaker Boehner that said it is necessary to made further cuts before speaking about a wider budget. The S&P 500 closed shy of the 1,700 level.
The Dow Jones advanced 22.19 points or 0.14% to end the day at 15,567.74. The S&P 500 eased 3.14 points or 0.19% to finish at 1,692.39. And the Nasdaq Composite closed the day at 3,579.27 after declining 21.12 points or 0.59% on the day.
