Greece has prepared an alternate plan – Greek Fin Min Varoufakis

FXStreet (Mumbai) - Speaking at a gathering marking the 130 years of the French-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, Greece Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis said that the country has prepared an alternative if part of a EUR7.2 billion bailout tranche is not dispersed in March.

Further, reacting to Spanish Economy Minister Luis de Guindos' suggestion that a third bailout package of some EUR30-50 billion for Greece was being negotiated, Varoufakis insisted there are no preparations for a third bailout.

He said,"I don't know who said this, or who presented all this as a debate, even using specific sums. This is as far from the truth as it can get."
