Working on Greek program “to bridge the time until the summer” – EC’s Chief Juncker

FXStreet (Mumbai) - Speaking for the German weekly business news magazine Wirtschaftswoche, European Commission (EC) President Jean-Claude Juncker said that he was working with Euro group chief Jeroen Dijsselbloem for an extension of Greece's current rescue program “to bridge the time until the summer.”

He added, “Until then, we should be able to agree with the new government in Athens on a new reform and growth program for Greece,”

“It goes without saying that all the financial obligations to the European and international partners must be respected,”

“Thus must be the root of any new agreement.”
