US equities rise yet again

FXstreet.com (New York) - The US stock market moved higher yet again Tuesday, building up for the FOMC minutes later this week.

Beginning with the indices and composites, the NASDAQ rose +0.25% as it settles in region of 3493.55, up +8.65 points in these moments. In addition, the S&P 500 is trading in positive territory, operating at 1648.94, ascending +8.53 points or +0.52% at the time of writing. Finally, the Dow Jones has moved higher at the opening, trading in the zone of 15295.18, presently +0.48% after a movement of +70.49 points.

Sectors are all higher at the opening, however the Basic Materials and Telecoms sectors have distinguished themselves as the winners thus far, rising +1.33% and +1.05% respectively. Moreover, the price of gold has settled at $1257.03 per oz., while silver is now negotiating a spot price of $19.32 per oz. Tuesday.
