FXStreet (Edinburgh) - The Mexican peso extends its softer tone vs. the greenback on Wednesday, with USD/MXN around 15.0380.

USD/MXN ignores Mexican data

The pair kept the composure today following the results from the Mexican Industrial Production, showing a monthly contraction of 0.3% during December and a 3.0% expansion over the last twelve months. The pair continues to trade in record highs beyond the key barrier at 15.000 bolstered by the USD dynamics and the prospects of a rate hike by the Fed in the upcoming months.

USD/MXN key levels
