EUR/AUD regains 1.46 handle

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The common currency climbed higher versus the Australian dollar during the European session as the Aussie slipped on falling oil and iron-ore prices.

Supported above 10-DMA

Currently, the EUR/AUD cross trades at 1.4610 levels, gaining 0.29% on the day, having previously posted day’s high at 1.4653 levels. The Australian dollar lost footing against the single currency as sliding oil and iron-ore prices continue to hurt the resource-linked Aussie. Also, the pair remains supported Greece is tries to renegotiate its debt conditions, including bridge financing with the EU finance ministers later in the day.

At the moment, the AUD/USD pair trades at 0.7728, down -53 on the day. While EUR/USD traded lower by -0.15% above 1.1300 levels.

EUR/AUD Technical Levels

The pair has an immediate resistance at 1.4643 levels, above which gains could be extended to 1.4700 levels. On the flip side, support is seen at 1.4595 levels, from here it to 1.4559 levels.
