China's GDP solid, but IP more important - ANZ
FXStreet (Bali) - ANZ shares the initial thoughts on China's data releases, highlighting the strong industrial production numbers.
Key Quotes
"While the 7.4% GDP result for the year will likely occupy the journalists, I think the stronger result for IP is more important. At this stage the low point for IP was actually in August at 6.9%. We are now at 7.9%."
"While markets wont expect a strong China recovery from here, the IP data do highlight I think that the sharpest phase for China's slowdown was through the mid-part of 2014, and things have been much more stable since then."
