UK GDP final reading downward revised to 2.6 percent
The UK economy expanded by 0.7 percent in the third quarter, according to the final reading of GDP. The economy grew by 2.6 percent in the third quarter compared with 2013, according to data from the Office for National Statistics, revised from an initial reading of 3 percent.
