EUR/AUD sees bearish 5-DMA & 10-DMA crossover

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The Single currency has erased part of its gains against the Aussie, leading to a bearish crossover between the 5-DMA and the 10-DMA levels.

The pair now trades 0.10% higher at 1.5057; after having clocked a high of 1.5123 levels earlier today. Moreover, the AUD/USD pair recovered from the low of 0.8089, to trade at 0.8125 levels. Meanwhile, the EUR/USD pair trades largely unchanged at 1.2239 levels. Consequently, the EUR/AUD cross has been pushed lower from the day’s high. The 5-DMA and the 10-DMA are now located at 1.5070 and 1.5076; indicating a bearish crossover.

EUR/AUD Technical Levels

The pair has an immediate support located at 1.5036, under which losses could be extended to 1.5 levels. On the other hand, resistance is located at 1.5070-1.0576 (5-DMA and 10-DMA) and 1.5123 levels.

Ukraine Rating Downgraded, Risks of Defaulting higher – S&P

Standard & Poor's (S&P) has cut its long-term foreign currency sovereign credit rating on Ukraine to 'CCC-' from 'CCC', and its long and short-term local currency ratings to 'CCC+/C' from 'B-/B'. The agency affirmed negative outlook on Ukraine.
