Chinese economy slowing down in Q4: PBoC survey
FXStreet (Mumbai) - A People's Bank of China (PBoC) survey published today, showed an increase in the number of bankers who felt that the Chinese economy may slow down in the Q4 2014 versus Q3 2014.
The survey also revealed that the banker’s confidence index dropped in the fourth quarter, as did the confidence index of Chinese enterprises.
At the same time, fewer Chinese residents believed property prices are at unacceptable levels, as home prices show signs of cooling.
However, the PBoC said the survey also showed that in the fourth quarter the number of bankers who believed monetary policy was "appropriate" increased from July-September.
