USD/JPY rises to 1-week highs
FXStreet (Córdoba) - USD/JPY kept rising during the US session and printed a fresh daily high at 119.61. Greenback is about to end Friday above 119.50, posting the strongest daily close in almost two weeks.
Greenback climbed across the board during the last hours as stocks rise modestly in Wall Street, adding to weekly gains. The US dollar is among majors the best performer over the week while the yen shows mixed results.
USD/JPY rebounds 400 pips
On Tuesday the pair plummeted to 115.55 but then rebounded sharply rising more than 400 pips from the lows and breaking important short term resistances and maybe ending the correction that started early in December from 121.80.
