LME Inventory Update

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The daily warehouse stocks data released by the London Metal Exchange (LME) today showed a rise in the inventory levels of Nickel, while the inventory levels of Aluminium, Zinc, Copper declined.

Copper stocks declined by 475 tonnes today, while Aluminium inventory and Zinc inventory decreased by 10350 tonnes and 2175 tonnes respectively. Nickel stocks increased by 1680 tonnes, while that of Lead remained unchanged.

Position-liquidation still dominates markets – SG

Kit Juckes, Global Head of Currency Research at Societe Generale, notes that position-liquidation still dominates the markets with money leaving Russia rather than putting in fresh short positions.
