New record lows for European sovereign yields

FXStreet (London) - European bond yields have sunk to new record lows this morning. French 10-year government bonds broke to new record lows this morning, hitting 1.100 percent before being bought back up to a still-low 1.118 percent.

Spanish yields broke to 1.9523 percent, after hitting 7.621 percent in July 2012. Yields have decline 2.18 percent year-to-date.

Italian 10-year yields have also broken to record lows, hitting 2.153 percent. Yields have declined from 7.261 percent in three years. Yields have declined 0.37 percent since October.

Copper inventory rises, Nickel fell from six-week high

The daily inventory data released by the London Metal Exchange (LME) today showed a rise in the inventory levels of Copper and Nickel. Meanwhile, the inventory levels of Aluminium, Zinc, and Lead declined.
