EUR/CHF hits fresh 2-year lows, 8 pips above 1.2000
FXStreet (Córdoba) - EUR/CHF moved sideways during most of the day and surprisingly during the American session broke below and bottomed at 1.2008, reaching a fresh 2-year low and moving closer to the floor established by the Swiss National Bank.
EUR/CHF moving slowly, in a clear direction
The pair continues to make small moves to the downside, day after day, without any significant corrective rally as the Swiss franc continues to outperform other European currencies.
The question remains when and at what levels will the SNB intervene in the currency market to weaken the franc. Many rumors about orders are circulating and appears to be a matter of time, when it will happen and if it will be successful in defending the 1.2000 floor.
