EUR/CHF at fresh lows, closer to 1.2000
FXStreet (Córdoba) - EUR/CHF printed a fresh 2-year low at 1.2014 and continues to move slowly toward the 1.2000 floor, increasing speculations about when the Swiss National Bank could intervene in the currency market to weaken the Swiss franc.
For the eighth day in a row the pair reached fresh lows, falling in that period less than 40 pips. Today’s price range so far is less than 10 pips; peaked at 1.2021 during the Asian session and recently bottomed 7 pips below.
The euro is falling for the sixth week in a row against the Swissy. EUR/CHF is about to post the lowest weekly close since August 2008.
