Greek exits recession in third quarter
FXStreet (London) - Seasonally-adjusted GDP rose by 0.7 percent in the Eurozone the third quarter of 2014, compared with the previous quarter, according to flash estimates published by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.
Compared with the same quarter of the previous year, seasonally-adjusted GDP rose by 1.7 percent.
The GDP growth figures outstrip the majority of core Eurozone countries after Germany and France reported 0.1 percent and 0.3 percent growth in the third quarter respectively, although Greece is coming from a lower base.
