Eurozone Q3 GDP rises by 0.2 percent
FXStreet (London) - Seasonally-adjusted GDP rose by 0.2 percent in the Eurozone and by 0.3 percent in the EU during the third quarter of 2014, compared with the previous quarter, according to flash estimates published by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. In the second quarter of 2014, GDP grew by 0.1 percent in the Eurozone and by 0.2 percent in the 28-member European Union.
Compared with the same quarter of the previous year, seasonally-adjusted GDP rose by 0.8 percent in the Eurozone and by 1.3 percent in the EU in the third quarter of 2014, after +0.8 percent and +1.3 percent respectively in the previous quarter.
