GBP/USD slides further to fresh 1-year lows
FXStreet (Córdoba) - GBP/USD dropped further and reached a fresh 1-year low at 1.5833 and it was trading near the lows, still holding bearsih moment. Greenback gained momentum across the board as stocks in Wall Street were rising and ahead of tomorrow’s employment report.
GBP/USD worst day since mid-October
Cable was headed toward the lowest daily close since September 2013 against Greenback, having the worst day in three weeks.
Earlier the pair fell to test yesterday's low located around the key support at 1.5860/70, and then bounced to the upside, but the recovery was short lived and resumed the downside, accelerating below 1.5865.
