Wall street to open strong
FXStreet (Mumbai) - The US Equity markets are likely to open higher on strong corporate earnings in the US which highlight the strength of the US economy.
The DJIA December futures are trading higher by 0.52% at 17,395.50 levels, while the S&P December futures are trading 0.60% higher at 2017.45 levels. Meanwhile, the Midcap index Russell 2000 December futures are trading 0.76% higher at 1171.00 levels. The strength in the equity markets is likely to push down the volatility index (VIX). The S&P 500 VIX November futures are trading weaker by 2.53% at 15.43 levels.
Moreover, the recent rally has been based on strong corporate earnings in the US. Standard & Poor’s 500 Index companies are beating analysts’ estimates at the fastest pace in four years.
