US stocks bounced again at yesterday's lows
FXStreet (San Francisco) - Wall Street closed mixed on Thursday as major indexes bounced at yesterday's lows. Investors are trading on fears about global growth and Ebola. The Dow extended decline for seventh day.
The Dow Jones recovered from 207 points drop and it closed 'just' 24.50 pts or 0.15% negative in the day to 16,117.24. The S&P 500 advanced 0.27 pts or 0.01% to finish at 1,862.76; while the Nasdaq Composite added 2.07 pts or 0.05% to 4,217.39.
Oil tested Wednesday's lows at 80.00 and it bounced back to price as high as 84.00. However the energy was contained and now the oil crude is closing at 82.63, first positive day in four. Gold moved sideways in between 1,235 and 1,245.
