UK: Annual CPI up 1.5% in August, as expected
According to data released today by National Statistics, UK annual inflation rose 1.5% in August, following 1.6% growth registered the previous month. This result is in line with analysts' forecasts. On a monthly basis UK CPI climbed 0.4%, after sliding 0.3%, as expected.
